At Dance With Me Studio we take time to select the best instructors to help you maximize your potential.

Rob and Sherry’s unique combination of fun along with their special knowledge for beginners has been a big factor in their continuing success as dance teachers. For 18 years they studied dancers, and have developed a unique method of instruction, which aids first time dancers attainable success. Their dance history has expanded from Country and Swing styles to Ballroom and Latin while travels have taken them throughout the United States and Europe, teaching and judging at swing and country events.

Together they host Edmonton’s River City Dance Festival in October, and is now in its 13th year. This event has been the conduit of many successful careers as well as many hours of dance pleasure and entertainment for the dance community.

Sherry is the first woman and the first Canadian to be elected president of the international dance association, United Country Western Dance Council and a recognized certified judge. During her tenure, she secured the Worlds Country Dance Championships for Edmonton in 2001. This was the first time the event was held outside the United States.

In 1999 Sherry was nominated as a “Women of Distinction” for her volunteer work and community contribution. Sherry’s love of dance has extended her teaching to youth and seniors while spreading the word that social dance is a physically and mentally positive lifelong pursuit. Her personal wish is to see more social dance in the school system to encourage good social skills and camaraderie for our young.

Together their initiative, commitment and strength of character have provided inspiration to others.
